Reason: History
Sardinia is one of the oldest zones in Europe.
The oldest human traces in Sardinia were found near Perfugas. Stone tools testify that already in the Paleolithic (200,000 - 150,000 B.C.) people lived on the island.
In the Grotta Corbeddu near Oliena, worked deer bones and part of a human lower jaw from the period between 20,000 and 15,000 B.C. were discovered. Sardinia is still today a huge open-air museum where you can walk short distances through the millennia, since much has been well preserved from the different periods.
Here, as in other places of the world, archaeological findings show that the people developed from an initially peaceful to a warlike people.
Sardinia was constantly exposed to attacks from outside.
But it can be shown in Sardinia that world peace 1 must have already existed.
