Grazia Deledda, who was born here on the island and was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature, has tangibly portrayed the local people.
Sardinians have a tendency to perceive life as a secret, but this is also marked by guilt, which perhaps explains the religiosity that is still strong today.
The island is filled with many religious sites from centuries past. While people pray little in Europe, here on the island it is still deeply rooted in everyday life.
However, people here are not only very open to the secrets of life and religious themes, Sardinians also love to party!
Sardinia has 377 municipalities. In almost every municipality, out of a long tradition, festival committees are formed every year (except during the pandemic), which organize the annual two to three municipality festivals, from the collection of funds and planning to the implementation.
Per festival, one can expect an average participation per inhabitant of around €20.
We have staggered the prices per municipality in such a way that in the minimum case a participation of 1.50 € and in the maximum case a participation of 6.00 € per inhabitant is sufficient, which can be stretched besides still over 4 months.
One assumes here also that one did not set sail only from warlike intentions or to trade. Mutual visits, simply to spend time together, could also have been the reasons.

Already early reed boats were built here. An exciting project started years ago in Sardinia to prove that people visited each other long before current evidence proves it.
Sardinia is in many ways one of the most beautiful places in the world, but Sardinia is also particularly characterized by the warmth of its people!
The impassability that an island life can bring with it, the population makes up for with cordiality.
In the minimum case only the Sardinian cordiality can be carried into the world and in the ideal case Sardinia will remain forever connected with having helped the world peace to get started.
